Riskonnect Proposal
01
1The Inversion
Riskonnect is a product leader, presented like a follower.
In shortThe product outranks the presentation — that gap is the opportunity.

Nine consecutive years as Redhand's RMIS leader. 2,700 customers — IHG, Wendy's, BT, Transport for London, the U.S. Army. And a brand estate that undersells all of it, at the exact moment the category's bar moved. This page is what I found in a weekend, and what I'd do about it.

What the market says about the product
RMIS Leader — nine consecutive years.
Redhand Advisors RMIS Report, the category's definitive buyer's guide, 2018–2026
What the market says about the brand
"Brand confusion… potentially diminishing market recognition."
Gartner, Magic Quadrant for GRC Tools, 2025 — listed as a Riskonnect caution

When a company's weakest signal is its presentation, design stops being decoration and becomes the last unfixed commercial lever. Everything below is evidence.

2What I Found
A weekend inside the web estate.
In shortSix verifiable issues — and one elite asset any redesign must protect.
#1
Google result for "RMIS software" — elite organic reach to protect
9 yrs
Consecutive RMIS leadership, Redhand Advisors Report
1,970
Pages that matter, of ~12,300 indexed URLs
4
Typefaces loading on one homepage

The crown jewel: #1 for "RMIS software." #2 for "claims management software." #3 for "integrated risk management software."

+

Riskonnect's organic search position is elite — and it pours qualified traffic into everything below. It's the first thing I'd protect: any redesign ships with strict 1:1 URL preservation. An agency that doesn't lead with that sentence will cost you rankings a decade in the earning.

01

ventivtech.com greets visitors with a browser security warning.

+

The domain of your largest acquisition serves an invalid SSL certificate before redirecting — and only to the homepage, no deep mapping. Nine-figure acquisition, leaking referral traffic. Fixable in a day.

02

Four typefaces on one homepage.

+

Lato, Lexend Deca, Mulish and Inter all load on the front page — years of page-builder accretion with no identity system underneath. Colors are hardcoded per element; no design tokens hold the line.

03

A 2026 AI story told through a 2018 chassis.

+

February's Agentforce 360 launch — enterprise agentic AI — is delivered by an Avada page-builder loading 45 scripts and 93 stylesheets, with 2019-era screenshots still on the homepage. The medium contradicts the message.

04

~12,300 indexed URLs. Roughly 1,970 that matter.

+

Most of the estate is translation duplication and taxonomy bloat — the real English site is ~380 pages, ~1,100 posts and ~400 resources, servable by 15–20 well-designed templates. Far more tractable than it looks.

05

Every CTA leads to one bare form.

+

Elite rankings and strong logos funnel into a single unrouted HubSpot form. No product tour, no persona routing, no pricing signal. 69% of enterprise buyers engage sales only after deciding — the site gives them nowhere to decide.

06

The category's ceiling moved in March.

+

AuditBoard rebranded to Optro — foundry typography, editorial palette, a coherent agentic story. A direct competitor now looks like the future Riskonnect's product actually leads. The pressure is current, not theoretical.

3The Opening
Everyone in this category is saying the same sentence.
In shortThe category is indistinguishable — and the CFO-grade position is unclaimed.
Origami Risk "One platform for modern risk, insurance, and safety operations."
LogicGate "The Leading AI GRC Platform for the Enterprise."
Diligent "The leading AI platform for GRC."
ServiceNow "A single, cohesive view of risk across teams and the business."
MetricStream "GRC Simplified. Outcomes Amplified."
Optro "Transform risk into opportunity."

Blue palettes, dashboard heroes, the word "agentic," a Gartner badge, one demo button. Nobody passes a blind logo-swap test.

Meanwhile Riskonnect owns something none of them can claim: the RMIS and claims heritage that speaks the financial language of risk. Nobody in this category is the CFO-grade brand — the one that knows what risk costs and what managing it returns. That position is open, defensible, and yours by right of product.

4Proof, Not Promises
I don't sell audits. Here's a concept.
In shortA first design concept, built in a weekend — a direction, not a final.

One weekend of looking produced everything above — and this: a first design concept for riskonnect.com. The identity evolved, not replaced — one typeface family, your orange refined and tokenized, the dollars-first narrative on the page. Imagine four weeks.

"The platform that knows what risk costs."

5Ways To Work
Two ways to work.
In shortA six-week sprint to a shippable direction — or an embedded design leader, ongoing.
Option A · The Sprint
Option B · The Retainer
Shape
Fixed scope — six decisive weeks
Embedded — ongoing, monthly
Ends with
Brand direction, finished page designs, a live prototype
Shipped site, brand system, a sales collateral engine
Best for
Deciding with something real in hand
Sustaining momentum after the sprint
Option A · Fixed Scope
The Brand Direction Sprint
Six weeks

Six weeks of decisive work. Every week ends in something your team can see, react to, and use — no interim decks, no theatre.

Week 1The Positioning Cut. Messaging architecture and verbal identity — the CFO-grade territory — plus a quick-win punch list (Ventiv SSL, Camms page, demo page) your team can action immediately.
Week 2The Identity Routes. Two to three visual directions — type, color, art direction, logo evolution — applied to real surfaces so the choice is concrete, not abstract.
Week 3The System. The chosen route hardened into an identity system: typography, tokenized palette, imagery direction, and the rules that keep it consistent.
Week 4The Website Concept. Homepage, solution-page and demo-page designs, plus the 15–20 template architecture the whole estate collapses into.
Week 5The Conversion Layer. The funnel redesigned — product tour, persona routing, case-study format — and a first sales one-pager to prove the system off-screen.
Week 6The Handover That Sells Itself. A live interactive prototype on a URL, the brand direction document, and a sequenced roadmap for rollout.
In six weeks: a brand direction your board can approve, finished page designs your team can react to, and a live prototype your sales leaders can click.
Option B · Ongoing
The Fractional Design Leader
Monthly · six-month initial term

What the sprint's momentum looks like sustained: a design leader embedded in the revenue org, shipping weekly.

WebThe full site, template by template. The 15–20 template system rolled out with strict 1:1 URL preservation — rankings protected by design, not luck.
BrandIdentity system and guidelines. One typeface family, tokenized palette, an architecture that finally unifies the acquisitions under one name.
SalesThe collateral engine. One-pagers, the sales deck, comparison and battlecard sets, tear sheets, event kits — the same system I built for Nasdaq Private Market's brokers.
ConvertThe funnel, rebuilt. Interactive product tour, persona routing, ROI-calculator surfaces, a case-study library worthy of your logo list.
CadenceWeekly ship list. Monthly leadership review. Everything customer-facing, art-directed by one pair of eyes.
Design and prototyping by me; implementation runs through your web team or build partner, with me directing. I won't pretend to personally rebuild a six-locale WordPress estate — I'll make sure it's built right.

Commercials fit on one page and are shared separately — structured for a relationship, not a transaction.

6About
Sid Ahmed
In shortNasdaq Private Market's design lead — working the way operators work.

Head of Design at Nasdaq Private Market — the Nasdaq-founded marketplace for private company stock. I led NPM's complete rebrand this year, end to end: strategy, identity, guidelines, launch. I design its trading, data and mobile products, and I built the sales collateral system its brokers close with.

I work the way operators work: research first, then outputs — live prototypes over slide decks, shipped templates over strategy documents. This page and the concept behind it were produced in a weekend, because showing is faster than telling.

Enterprise fintech is my native territory — analyst-badge markets, committee sales, products that have to earn trust before they earn a meeting. It's the world Riskonnect sells into every day.

Selected, recent
  • Nasdaq Private Market — full rebrand, 2026 (strategy → identity → launch)
  • NPM trading, data & mobile product design language
  • Broker sales collateral system — decks, one-pagers, comparison sets
  • Live prototype platform replacing static design handoff
  • Independent practice: brand & web for fintech and B2B clients
Thirty minutes this week. Shipping by next.

Bring your head of marketing — this only works as a partnership with the team that owns it day to day.
